Lightning Forensics
WDT provides the most accurate lightning verification information available. LightningTrax™, lightning verification reports assist you in determining the presence or absence of cloud-to-ground lightning strokes relative to a given address on a specific date.
Hail Forensics
There are four main product offerings in WDT’s line of forensic hail reports: HailTrax Reports, HailTrax Litigation Package, HailExpress Service and Hail Analysis Reports. Other custom hail products are available upon request. HailTrax reports (including litigation package) and HailExpress products utilize the NEXRAD radar and HDA algorithm technologies. Hail Analysis Reports are a summary of National Weather service human observation data and do not include NEXRAD/HDA technology. Hail Analysis reports are recommended for hail verification over extended periods of time (Search periods can be as little as one day or as long as many years. Price is dependent on the length and location of search.)
Tornado Forensics
WDT provides highly accurate tornadic weather data and is committed to working with government, university and commercial weather partners to increase public awareness, safety and accurate reporting of tornadic activity.
Hurricane Forensics
WDT offers a basic report (consisting of wind maps and a written report) or an extensive report (consisting of all available wind and water, tide data etc., timelines. Shape file format data is also available for customers who choose to overlay WDT weather data in a GIS environment.
