Agreement Provides Best-in-Class Weather Services to over 60 Major U.S. Cities

In a multi-year agreement, weather technology leader Weather Decision Technologies Inc., (WDT) will provide weather content and interactive mapping capabilities to Canvas Technology, Inc.’s television station clients in over 60 major metropolitan areas, ensuring weather leadership for Canvas Technology and their customers over the next several years.

The Agreement between WDT and Canvas includes the latest version of iMap – the world’s most comprehensive and consumer friendly interactive map, including the following advanced features: street-level radar data; precipitation accumulation; satellite data; “super resolution” single site radar data; next-generation watch and warnings layers; severe storms tools; hurricane and winter tools; and detailed global forecast data for over 15,000 locations. WDT also is providing worldwide forecast information and images for many weather parameters.
