WDT offers radar mosaics created from Level II NEXRAD radar data with 250 meter resolution.
WDT proprietary data set produces radar imagery (mosaics) at 1 kilometer resolution – the highest spatial resolution available in the weather industry. The radar mosaics are “smoothed” to a 250 meter grid for optimal display within the iMap
iMapRadar Features
- WDT provides NEXRAD Level II “super-res” radar down to ground level.
- Level-II data provide higher spatial resolution (250m) and 64 colors versus the standard 16 or 8 colors.
- Single-Site NEXRAD Radar, as well as Future Radar and Terminal Doppler Weather Data.
- WDT will work with stations to ingest local radar data for display on their interactive maps for an extra cost.
