Yanhong is interested in applying the state-of-art computer technologies into weather industry. In WDT, she is responsible in designing and implementing state-of-the-science weather technologies developed by scientists within WDT and also licensed technologies from meteorological research organizations. In addition to implementing these weather technologies, Yanhong also has developed a number of innovative display capabilities that allow users to view the output of weather technologies in a manner that allows them to make decisions about how weather is going to affect their operations or assets. These weather technologies and the associated display are delivered to meteorologists and non-meteorologists globally via WDT's Value-Added Reseller Network.
