Phillip Spencer (joined WDT to work with the WRF modeling system. Much of Phillip's previous experience was centered on the analysis of irregularly-distributed observations. Phillip received his B.S. in Meteorology from the University of Oklahoma in 1989. Two years later, he received his M.S. in Meteorology from the same school. Upon graduation, he began working for the Cooperative Institute for Mesoscale Meteorological Studies (CIMMS) and the National Severe Storms Laboratory (NSSL), which included obtaining his Ph.D. in Meteorology from Pennsylvania State University in 2002.
