Christian Goering joined WDT in January 2007 as a software engineer. He has earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Seattle Pacific University and a M.S. in Atmospheric Science from Colorado State, with an emphasis in remote sensing. His responsibilities at WDT include standards-based design and development of core infrastructure components and the enhancement of products derived from remote sources, including meteorological satellites and radar.

Prior to joining WDT, Christian spent five years with Raytheon helping to develop the Air Force Weather Agency's Cloud Depiction and Forecast System II and 2½ years as a marine software developer at Weathernews, Inc.
