NORMAN, OK. May 20, 2008 - Weather Decision Technologies, Inc. and TrueNorth Global Inc. today announced that they have merged. The combined company will be named Weather Decision Technologies, Inc.
The management team of Weather Decision Technologies (WDT) will consist of James R. Laramie, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and Michael D. Eilts, President and Chief Operating Officer. The combined company with distinguished complementary capabilities is now in a position to further extend its reach into terrestrial and marine weather markets through direct and indirect sales channels. The expertise within the two entities has expanded to support a broader portfolio of services. The company will continue to focus on its global weather services strengths, and aggressively grow its core and new media businesses as a single entity.
