Our NOTUS weather technology allows you to place a marker on a special interactive map for up to six locations (depending on the package chosen) and when there are any National Weather Service advisories, watches or warnings or EAS alerts that affect those locations, you receive a text and/or e-mail alert.

Additionally, for the premium and Platinum packages, if lightning strikes within six miles of a location, you will receive a text and/or email alert. When 30 minutes have passed without a lightning strike occurring within the same 6 mile radius, our service sends an "all clear" message to let the user know that it is safe to go out again. By using these same standards adopted by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and recommended by lightning safety experts at the National Severe Storms Laboratory, this unique service helps to keep you, your family, friends and colleagues safe from approaching severe weather and lightning strikes.

Our premium weather service also provides alerts for adverse weather conditions using proprietary nowcasting capabilities, including:

• Estimated Time of Arrival and Departure for Heavy Rain (up to 4 hours in advance)
• Estimated Time of Arrival and Departure of Lightning Threat (up to 1 hour in advance)
